What's in my handbag?

Oh, here we go.

Upon first glance, it doesn't look too bad. I just got a new purse from Vera Bradley (Merry Christmas to me!) so for about a week or two, it was organized. Yesterday I leaned over in my car and dumped the entire contents out in the floorboard. Sigh. So I'm using this opportunity to re-organize it as I tell you fine folks what's in there.

First off, I have the basics: wallet, keys, sunglasses, checkbook... I keep my checkbook and all of my rewards cards in a larger wallet that I think I bought a Target a long time ago. It wouldn't work so well in a smaller bag, but since I don't write checks a lot and have smaller versions of most all of my rewards cards on a keychain, I can leave it at home when necessary.

My smaller wallet is for my ID, credit cards and cash. Technically it's a wristlet (from VB), which works well when I don't want to carry a purse. I can just grab it out and go. I figure if I have money and ID, I'll be fine for the most part.

The sunglasses currently in my bag are from Charming Charlie and I bought them for a trip to Hawaii because I thought I would look good in them... They don't look terrible but also not as good as I'd hoped. But I'm carrying them now because I broke all of my other sunglasses by putting them in my purse. I never learn. I should buy a case for them I suppose but since I usually spend about $5 on sunglasses, I'm not too terribly upset when they break. Unless it's really sunny.

My orange wristlet (from Target) is a new addition to my purse. Even when I wasn't carrying a large purse, I would still lose smaller items like flash drives, bandaids, nail clippers and my contact case somewhere in the hidden debts of the bag. So I decided to put this wristlet to good use and store these items in it.

In the side pockets I have lotion, hand sanitizer, medicines, my essential oil stick and my pocket planner. The little pink zipper pouch is for my lady products.

So there you go. I don't have anything super unusual or exciting in my purse at the moment. Just normal woman stuff.
