One of the best things I've gotten to do is go see The Little Mermaid at the Fox Theater. I love plays and this off-Broadway show was awesome. It included songs we all know and love from the Disney movie, along with original songs that gave all characters a chance to sing. Sebastian was my favorite character.
After the show, we ate a late dinner at Two Urban Licks. According to cntraveler.com, this is one of the two best restaurants in Georgia and one of the best places in the world to eat.I had the scallops and grits and it was amazing. We also shared pimento cheese hushpuppies and they were to die for.
I also went to Dave and Buster's for the first time in 10 years to celebrate my friend Lesley's birthday. I managed to break a hundred while bowling (which is always my goal) and walked away from the games with a new pair of sunglasses and a rubber rabbit with one leg. To top it off, they had really delicious frozen drinks.
So far this year has been pretty good. Here's for hoping it stays that way.
