30 Under 30: Peace out 2016!

Welcome to 29! The last year has gone by quickly and I have no doubt that this next year will too. I have to say, 2016 has been a rough year. I lost a cousin and one of my best friends. Other friends and family members are going through difficult times as I type this. And if one more celebrity dies before January, I feel like that sets a new record for sad days in Hollywood.

Here is for hoping 2017 is a better year.

The past two months have been busy with not a lot of time for new activities. Upon looking back over my list today, I've realized it's going to be quite difficult to complete some of the tasks listed. I'm always a bit too ambitious when I make lists. But I'm going to give at least some of these items a shot.

Only one thing has been checked off the list since the last update, but it was a goal I've been working towards for over a year.

1. Visit at least one MLB stadium.

2. Binge watch a TV show.

3. Visit a location made famous by moves or TV.

4. Learn how to change a tire.

5. Learn to sew a button on a shirt.

6. Run/Walk a half marathon.

7. Eat dinner at one of the world's best restaurants. I attempted to do this on my birthday but neglected to make reservations on time. :(

8. Sing karaoke at a bar.

9. Learn how to make a good cocktail.

10. Volunteer.

11. Go skiing.

12. Take a pottery class.

13. See a Broadway play.

14. Ride a bike.

15. Re-purpose furniture.

16. Finally finish that rough draft.

17. Craft more.

18. Clean up my mess.

19. Learn Spanish.

20. Get better at meal planning.

21. Develop a workout routine.

22. Read at least half of the books I own and have never read.

23. Go to a sushi bar.

24. Buy a couch.

25. Scrapbook.

26. Get my photography certification. Done! I am now a certified photographer! I don't know what this actually means for me, but hey, I did it.

27. Treat myself!

28. Make jewelry.

29. Complete a 30 day writing challenge. The goal is to complete this in January so it may turn out to be a 31 day writing challenge.

30. Finish old projects.

Bring on the new year!
